NRG Energy Environmental Scholarship Program 
Due January 31, 2019 
Applications may be picked up at the Counselor’s Office 

As part of the energy initiative, we at NRG Energy - Limestone Electric Generating Station are pleased to offer four environmental scholarships for 2019 graduating seniors from local high schools.  The environmental scholarship will be a monetary scholarship, to be applied toward educational expenses at an accredited college or university.  The monetary value will be one $1,000 scholarship.  Preference will be given to those students who will be enrolling in science, education, and engineering based degrees at their prospective college or university. More information and scholarship applications may be picked up in the Counselor’s Office. 

 

 

Texas Student Housing Scholarship
Due January 31, 2019 

Applications may be picked up at the Counselor’s Office 

The TSHA scholarship is available for students attending college in Austin, College Station, or Denton who have not yet signed an off-campus lease. Scholarships are awarded for the full or partial cost of an OFF-CAMPUS room for one academic year at, Town Lake in Austin, the Ridge at North Texas, and the Cambridge in College Station. More information and scholarship applications may be picked up in the Counselor’s Office. 

 

Raise Your Hand Scholarship

The Raising Texas Teachers initiative and the Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers provide 100 students at partner universities with scholarships of up to $8000 per year for up to four years. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarships 
Due February 4, 2019
Supplemental Documentation due February 14, 2019

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ scholarship application is a two part process starting with an online application, then followed by supplemental application documents. Once you have submitted the online portion, the supplemental documents will be emailed to you. You do not have to be a livestock show or rodeo participant to apply.
